The Eternal City

A city that once was a mechanical wonder has since fallen to ruin. Surrounded by a near impenetrable desert, all that remains of this ancient Gnomish civilization is the automaton servants still going about their daily duties. A pristine city, utterly abandoned and uninhabitable by the living due to the drought-cursed area. Some say the automatons themselves have formed a civilization all their own but can never explain why they still till fields of sand and rock. To the south is the Tower of glass, home to Cardaras, the Sage, and ancient blue dragon
